Assuming that you’ve already chosen a theme for your bedroom, there is no need to change it in the sitting area. The number of sitting areas depends on your lifestyle. For instance, if your kids have the habit of coming to the room to watch TV in the morning, while you’re checking emails on your desk, think of seating that is good for both purposes. ‘Living bedrooms’ on the other hand, are perfect with separate des chairs, couches, and conversation areas.
They will always be your cute, little kids, but they will eventually grow to have their own tasks, assignments, or even jobs. You need to give them a space where they can work, even if this means only a desk, a comfortable chair, and few shelves with relevant literature. If you think there is not enough space to do it, consider a drop-down desk attached to the wall, or a multi-purpose desk that can serve as a table too. A good idea is to take a bulk bed, or the raise the one you already have to place the working area underneath.
Kids are the biggest fortune in a person’s life. Therefore, why not making their room the sweetest and coziest corner of our home? Decorating Kids’ Rooms should be a well-planned and entertaining process, whose result will leave youngsters overwhelmed by beauty. However, purchasing fancy and playful furniture will not be enough-we need to make the place safe and functional!
Children have their own image of the world, and start developing their own interests at the age of three. Unless you’re designing a baby room, you should think about their wishes and opinions. Obviously, you’re not supposed to follow blindly their irrational choices, but rather to think whether they’re really feasible. Talk to your kids and try to find out which their favorite colors, shapes, cartoon heroes, or hobbies are; and options will start presenting themselves. Internet and inspirational magazines are also a great source of ideas.
